I am working as a research assistant with the Software Technology Group at Technische Universität Dresden, where I am also working on my PhD in the area of software composition and reuse.

Projects

I am a developer of the Reuseware Composition Framework: an EMF and Eclipse-based toolset to introduce new composition techniques into existing and newly developed languages of any software engineering domain. I am a developer of EMFText: a tool for deriving, defining and evolving text syntaxes for languages defined by Ecore metamodels. The tool is under active development at our group. Check out the EMFText website for updates and news!

JaMoPP: The Java Model Parser and Printer can be used to parse Java source code into EMF-based models and vice versa. JaMoPP is developed with EMFText and is under active development at our group. Check out the JaMoPP website for updates and news!

Our group is contributing to the MODELPLEX project in the areas of Model Composition, Model Weaving and Model-Based Simulation. MODELPLEX is an IST project funded by the European Commission. Its vision is that model technology, with its capacity for abstraction and generation, is the cornerstone for managing complexity, and for such complex systems.
